The Wine
Most of the estate vineyards employ traditional head pruning. No artificial fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides are use, and harvests done are exclusivley by hand.
Álvaro had never wanted to be known solely for expensive “trophy” wines and, with Camins del Priorat, he found the opportunity to create a true bargain. Drawing on his wealth of vineyard sources, Álvaro crafts Camins not only to be affordably priced, but also to be true to his vision of Priorat— powerful but elegant, approachable but restrained.
Tasting notes
A layered and very dense Priorat with crushed-raspberry and slate character, as well as black tea. Full body. Ripe yet tight tannins and a long and flavorful finish.
