Il Borro Toscana IGT, Italy, 750ml
The Estate
Il Borro has its roots in a fascinating thousand-year history, brought back to life by the Ferragamo family, also in terms of wine production. With a careful study of the terroir, the unique microclimate and the composition of the soil, Salvatore Ferragamo has launched an ambitius redevelopment project. He has recovered the historic vineyards, preserving their value, and introduced new vines in harmony with the territory, to best enhance their potential.
The Wine
The Prince Wine of our Azienda, the one who best embody our values and vision. After an accurate geological study, the three varietals Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, were planted in the best adapted soils, so they will express their maximum potential, giving live to a velvety and oppulent blend.

Vintage Caractheristics:
2020:
The vintage was caractherized by a dry and mild winter, followed by a spring with warm enough tempertures until the end of May, interrupted by a serie of heat waves that gave way to a very hot summer. Some heavy pours at the begginning of September brought to a fairly anticipated harvest, with great quality grapes.
