Montes Purple Angel Carmenere Petit Verdot, 750ml, Colchagua Valley, Chile

Terroir
The vineyards dedicated to our Purple Angel are located in the Colchagua Valley, specifically in the the Finca de Apalta El Arcángel de Marchigüe. The soils are of granitic origin, with different contents of clay, depth and organic matter, particularly in the different types of stones present, from alluvial to glacial, recreating the diversity of soils of these vineyards.
Tasting notes
Deep Ruby color, typical of Carmenere. On the nose you will find diverse and complex aromas, with predominance of blackberries, blueberries and plums. Sweet spices, rose pepper, freshly roasted coffe and tobacco aromas intertwine with the fruit aromas, due to the 10 months spent in French Oak barrels.  In the palate the fruit and acidity are balanced with smooth tannins; Flan and Manjar de Leche notes are present due the malolactic fermentation, contributing to the volume and long finish of the wine.
