Sorelle Bronca Particella 181 Valdobbiadene, Prosecco Superiore, 750ml, Italy
The Wine
The Particella 181 (Lot 181) tells in each glass the long wait for beign ready to harvest, but most of all talks about the strenght and potential of our first family vineyard, located in the sweet hills of Conegliano in Rua di Feletto. An irreverent particella that arrives to reinvent Prosecco Superiore DOCG. It's richness in iron (Ferreti) provides the sapidity and long finish in the palate. It's made with a long Martinotti Method and remains in lees for 6 to 8 months.
Vinification
Sequential pressing of whole grapes, fermentation in steel tanks and at 6 to 8 months lees. Second fermentation using the long Martinotti (Charmat) method using must from the same plot of land.
Tasting notes
Elegant perlage with a creamy mousse. Aromas and flavors of ripe fruits with mineral and flower notes. The iron rich soil adds sapidity and long finish in the palate.
